Listen, if you're the best friend of a protagonist in a sad anime and you have a generic design you knew you'll die the first episode

I can't say it's good or bad cuz it looks just fine. The animation is good but i don't know about story. I have enough time to waaste for now so I guess I'll try to finish this and I hope that it's not a waste of time +-+

God damn it I'm late sorry anyways I remember and reminded after I pressed into Netflix ffs , but the start is promising the gun shot was good the blood the vampires the plot I think I know how it was going the time I pressed into this the mc's face and emotions is telling me she wants peace , I admit I read the plot in Mal and gogoanime but still if I can see the plot in first episode I'm considering it good start the animation was good as hell no cap , hopefully late into this anime we get to see werewolves but I doubt

I already hate the main girl, what the reason for her not shooting the vampires, for her running away makes no sense. the humans are on the brink of extinction and she wants to party it up and have sunshine and rainbows.

You kind of need empathy to watch anime, or any form of media involving characters that make emotional decisions. Sorry.

Hesitating in killing a cornered child just because they're a potentially dangerous "enemy" when it was the humans who invaded their home in the first place? Yeah... if that's how all the humans acted I would think they would DESERVE to face extinction. But thankfully not everyone is so black and white "us vs. them" in our ways of thinking.

I can TOTALLY understand why the main character wouldn't want to live under a stifling oppressive militaristic regime that murders innocents and destroys music and culture in exchange for "safety".

Have you not been paying attention? the vampires suddenly spread and attacked like a plague, most of humanity were gone. Humanity has an absolutely understandable reason to react that way. Doesn't mean purging outside culture is right, but after understanding why that doesn't mean they're inherently bad too. While the other guy need to have some empathy for the vampire child, you need to have some empathy for humanity.

And what do you mean "safety" in quotation marks??? the episode clearly shows the vampire nation actively attack humanity the same way humanity actively attack vampires too, what do you expect? humanity not defending themselves?? this anime shows that war oppresses everybody from either side yet you seem like you're so against humanity for simply trying to survive.

have some empathy for people of both sides.

It would be fine if humanity here would stick to defending themselves... sure. But defense does NOT mean actively trying to root out and eradicate everyone who looks like the people who attacked you in the past.

If someone attacks you... sure... defend and strike back in the moment as it is called for against those specific ones who attacked you... but why assume it's a zero sum game where you have to wipe out every last speck of life on the other side in order to feel safe?

But luckily this anime shows that all humans do not behave that way (as we see in our main character) and thus it's not like I'm saying humanity deserves to die out in general... just... it's a hell of a mess of fearful, hateful, and terrible people on the human side... and we shouldn't act like they're in the right just because they feel threatened, no?

all I can say for this new anime, vampire civil war, world war, vampire revenge against humanity, for all the years they endured the pain now there raging war against humanity so yup that sums up the anime, and they'll be sad moments or painful moments I think.
